NASA Scientists Theorize Final Growth Spurt For Planets

New ideas come up for the final gains of mass for the planets. Scientist have unveiled a new theory that the planets gain the final portion of their mass from meteor or astroid impacts after 4.5 billion years ago.
This has to do with physics cause the adding wight mass would have to do with the force the sun uses to keep the planets in orbit. URL:http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2010/dec/HQ-10-329_Final_Planet_Growth.html

EPOXI Mission and Hartley 2

The mission is called EPOXI, they are trying to get EPOXI to land on the comet, Hartley, they are trying to collect as much data as they can in the time they are locked into the comet. The EPOXI mission is bound to hit Hartley 2 any time now. Being 1,064,900 kilometers away from Hartley 2 this morning, and EPOXI is heading towards at about 12.3 kilometers per second. I thought this was interesting on the different measurements that are used, example kilometers per sec, ect. You can get more information at the NASA website: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/epoxi/epoxi20101103.html
